Miriam Hernandez is a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist with a strong commitment to patient care and oral health education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas School of Dentistry and has completed her pre-requisites at Houston Community College.
Miriam has a diverse background in dental hygiene, having worked in various roles including full-time, part-time, and temporary positions. Her extensive experience has equipped her with a wide range of skills, from routine cleanings and periodontal care to patient education and the use of advanced dental technologies.
In addition to her professional work, Miriam is actively involved in several professional organizations. She served as Secretary for the Greater Houston Dental Hygienists’ Association from 2019 to 2022. She is currently serving as the Secretary for Latin RDH since 2021, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to the dental community. Her dedication has been recognized with awards such as the GHDHA Future Leader Award.
Miriam’s passion for dental hygiene is matched by her enthusiasm for community service. She has participated in numerous wellness events, contributing her expertise to promote oral health awareness.
