Dr. Daher A. Queiroz, DDS, MS, Ph.D., is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry.
He earned his DDS degree (2003) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has postgraduate training in Prosthodontics from the State University of Rio de Janeiro School of Dentistry (2005). In addition, he earned a master's degree (2008) and Ph.D. (2011) at the University of Taubate, São Paulo, Brazil. Previously, Dr. Queiroz was a Visiting Professor at The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, where he participated in research and teaching activities in the Division of Restorative Science and Prosthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Queiroz is the course director of Removable Prosthodontics I and participates in several preclinical and clinical courses. Dr. Queiroz conducts research in the fields of implant dentistry, dental materials, and digital dentistry.
