Dr. Chien currently serves as Associate Professor at UT Health Houston School of Dentistry. He is a board-certified Prosthodontist of American Board of Prosthodontics (USA) and Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (Taiwan, ROC). He received DDS degree from Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan in 2005. He then received his Certificate in Prosthodontics and MSD at the Indiana University, Indiana in 2015. He also completed the dental Implantology fellowship at University of Florida in 2016. He served at Marquette University, Wisconsin for six years before joining the family of UT Health. His academia experience including directorship in Implant dentistry, Digital Dentistry, Fixed Prosthodontics and others. He is also an active member of American College of Prosthodontists (USA), American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (USA), and Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (Taiwan).
Dr. Chien’s interest toward academia involves clinical and didactical education, majorly focus on implant dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, and digital dentistry.
