The Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Service at the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry is a CLIA certified, comprehensive histopathology laboratory offering tissue biopsy processing and diagnostic services for specimens from the oral cavity and surrounding structures.

The laboratory is staffed by qualified and board-certified histology personnel with decades of combined histology experience with specialization in diverse techniques, including decalcification procedures.

Since 1958, we have remained a trusted source for oral pathology services, and we strive to provide you and your patients with comprehensive and expert diagnoses of oral conditions.
